Who are we?
Clear Lake church of Christ is a family of Christians dependent on
God's grace, mercy, and faithfulness, and dedicated to serving him as
genuinely as we possibly can. We believe that the Bible is the inspired
word of God and that Jesus Christ came to earth as both God and man
to live a sinless life, die as a sacrifice for our sins, and be
resurrected to give us eternal life. We are not perfect. We have
chosen to accept God’s grace and strive to live a life of
obedience—both as individuals and as God’s family—that pleases Him.
The church is not a building where people come once or twice a week
to meet, but a family of believers who want to serve God together.
As a family though, we do come together often to worship God through
song, prayer, Scripture reading and study, and sharing in the
Lord’s supper, but serving together as a church extends beyond the
church doors. Just as a biological family does, as a spiritual family
we spend time together in fellowship, and we share in each other joys
and sorrows. Love must be multiplied, not divided though, and we also
want to share God’s love with others by reaching out to the community
and support of mission work so that the family of Christ may grow.

What to expect when you visit?
Welcome! When you visit, you can expect to be greeted by friendly
faces who wish to welcome you to our services and make you feel a
part of the family. Our Bible classes are filled with Scripture based
teaching and engaging discussion aimed at helping us grow in our
knowledge of God’s word and application of its principles. Classes
are available for all ages—infants through adults. Our worship
services are filled with sincere acapella singing, challenging,
Bible based sermons, prayer, sharing in the Lord’s Supper and
fellowship in the Spirit with other believers.
